Carl Christopher Tornblom

Founder & Director

Chris is investor in several growth companies and has vast experience of the global financial markets. He was previously the CEO of Metacon AB, which he took on to the stock exchange at fall of 2018, building the shareholders base from a mere few hundred to more than 20 thousand and increasing the value of the company from about USD 5 million to USD 265 million as of early 2021. He serves on several boards and highly dedicated to philanthropic matters. He has lived and worked in among others, United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Switzerland, Spain and South Africa. He is educated at Shenandoah University, USA and the Graduate School of Business Administration in Zurich, Switzerland.

Aaron Michelin

Chairman

Aaron is the founder of Corporatum OY, a Finnish based venture capital firm established in 1990. He is also the founder of Enersense International Oyj, a Nasdaq listed resource management company specializing in large scale projects and services in the field of energy, communication, digital products and industrial platforms with annual revenues of €200m. He is the Honorary Consul of Hungary in Finland. Aaron serves on many board of directors and act as mentor to many organizations that supports start-up companies with strategic advice and financing. He has an executive MBA from the university of Tampere.

Sir Eric Peacock

Sir Eric was knighted in 2003 for his services to international trade. He previously sat on the boards of UK Export Finance, UK Trade & Investment, the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills.
He is currently Chairman of e-Careers Limited (E-Learning), iPro Sport Corporation Limited (Natural Isotonic Sports Drinks), Buckley Jewellery Ltd, Stevenage Packaging Ltd, Halo International Group Ltd (Furniture), Boxford Group Ltd (Leisure and Farming) and Just Loans Plc, NED of Bango PLC (E-commerce/Payments) and Kingfisher Beer Europe Ltd and also leads the Peacock Foundation, Uniqueness and the AB Trust all of which focus on disadvantaged children and young adults.

Mark O’Dwyer

Chief Commercial Officer

Mark has a proven track record of delivering organisational transformation for global leaders in international health and insurance markets. Skilled in improving customer outcomes, digital investment, business turnaround, M&A, driving P&L and bottom-line improvement leading to stabilisation and management of cash and working capital. Mark’s most recent role was as Managing Director of Bupa Global and previously as Corporate Development & Performance Director at Royal London Group, Commercial Director at Legal & General and CEO & COO of AIG Isle of Man. Mark is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

Simon Alexander Legge

Managing Director

Simon is co-Founder and Director at Commonwealth Research Centre Limited and a board member of Arden Fine Wines. Having managed the Rudolf Wolff Commonwealth Infrastructure Fund, with 24 years banking experience at Barclays, Merrill Lynch and UBS, Simon is a Freeman of the City of London and of The Worshipful Company of International Bankers, the City of London Livery Company with a Royal Charter as a fellowship of financial services professionals. He studied Literature and Languages at McGill in Montreal and holds a Finanz und Investment Oekonom from the VWA Frankfurt.

Tahani Saridar

Tahani has worked across the health and not-for-profit sectors for 14 years. With a passion for delivering social impact, she has spent her career managing change and innovation initiatives focused on health value creation and sustainability.
Tahani began her career in health policy, lobbying for better awareness, service provision and research for people affected by brain and spine conditions. She has worked for both private and charitable health providers, redesigning services for improved consumer health outcomes and experience.
Tahani’s academic background is in psychology, and she holds a Masters in Psychological Research Methods and an MBA.
In addition to her work with Think Through Nutrition, she is a Board Director at the Employers’ Initiative on Domestic Abuse and has acted as Project Manager for TEDxHackney.

Peter Bruce-Clark

Partner at Social Impact Capital, former Head of Business Development at Real Capital Innovation and founder of Kalytix Partners (both acquired). Peter is an advisor to global funds focused on the environment, health, and sustainability, such as Counterfactual Ventures, Brace VC, and Extantia, an active angel investor in multiple global impact startups and Ambassador to the Rockefeller family’s BankFWD initiative designed to transform the carbon footprint of global banking. He is also a member of Clearstone VC, Impact Capital Managers, TTI and GBx.
A leading theorist on private market impact investments, Peter has led research over the last ten years on impact finance, collaborating with Oxford University, Stanford University, Planet Heritage, and White Sand Investor Group. Publications include: Impact investments: a call for (re)orientation (2021) and Sovereign Development Funds: The Governance and Management of Strategic Investment Institutions, The Oxford Handbook of Sovereign Wealth Funds (2018.)

Alberto Haddad is an investor and serves as an advisor and board member to private equity firms, small to medium companies and growth companies. He is the Senior Advisor to Deutsche invest immobilien – d.i.i., Germany’s leading investment manager focused exclusively on residential real estate in Germany, with assets under management of about 2.5 billion euros.
Mr. Haddad also serves on the board of MJ&Cie, France’s oldest Multi-Family Office, which focuses on investment, asset allocation and multi-generational family support.
He has been instrumental in managing numerous engagements in Europe and the US, advising on transactions from sourcing to closing. He has represented both buy-side and sell-side interests.
Mr. Haddad spearheaded the opening of McKinsey&Company’s first Middle East office in the UAE, advising clients on key strategic issues across industries. Mr. Haddad holds an MBA from MIT Sloan, a Masters in Economics and Finance from “Sciences-Po Paris” and a BA in Economics from the American University of Beirut. During a long career in the fashion Industry, mainly based between Milan and Paris, she set up a production company where she represents photographers among the 10 most famous of the 90s, which will allow her to participate to the realization of worldwide advertising campaigns of prestigious luxury brands such as Baccarat, Swarovski, Cartier, Ungaro, Rémy Martin and many others, while collaborating on regular bases with many major fashion magazines. Relocated in Monaco, she creates one of the first online magazines, Businessmanconfidential, which offers to businessmen an overview at all the trends shaping the zeitgeist of the beginning of the 21st century. Then the prestigious and historic Monaco Ambassadors Club, founded by Princess Grace of Monaco, offers her the mission to rejuvenate the Club’s image and to include its event agenda in a new dynamic capable of forging a privileged link between the nationals of the 120 nations present on the Monegasque territory. The Year of Russia, launched in 2015, will be the occasion of a series of events that she works in close collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce of the Federation of Russia. Understanding the impact of cultural events in the exchange between nations, at the end of the same year she founds the Association AIDA to create events with high media visibility, such as the Bal de la Baronne Béatrice, able to bring together, in a relaxing and surprising ambiance, international thinkers and decision-makers. Nick has deep experience in cyber security, data protection, risk management and strategic planning, helping multinational corporates to understand their risk of data breach and how to effectively mitigate them, and overseeing technical software development.
20 years international experience within the equity derivatives markets and advised two funds on multi asset SPC structures, where functions included senior regulatory oversight (UK-FSA, Cayman-CMA, and Jersey –JFSC); extensive marketing; legal; tax and trading / implementation strategies.
